Hi all, Personally I believe that I am once saved always saved. If I wasn't then I am crucifying Christ every time I come back to Him. I am pretty sure that one crucifixion was enough. However there is mention in previous posts that it is a difference between choosing and losing, I drifted way from...

First actually huans weren't created perfect. I believe the scriptures say 'It was good.' Regarding Adam and Eve's choice vs. ours it is clearly different. Adam and Eve did not require salvation until they sinned. So they added sin, and Jesus takes it all away. Since Jesus takes it ALL away, contin...

I have said it a million times before: we cannot unjustify what God has justified. What God has declared righteous, we cannot declare unrighteous. But, just because we are JUSTIFIED does not mean we will be thoroughly SANCTIFIED in this life. We can lose our inheritance in heaven . . . not our plac...

Hmmm... I can tell that to start a new discussion on that matter would be a lengthy and ultimately futile endevour in terms of reaching common ground. How about we consider the killings by God in 2 contexts; one where children are not condemned and one where they are... The problem lies not in whet...

Don't get me wrong, I would never advocate ignoring any portion of the scripture or His words. But there must be room for careful interpretation of Christ's words. The parables would make no sense if we weren't supposed to interpret them. I don't see how that passage of the woman indicates the stat...

Well I can't see composing a good answer to the question without going around that one first. My point #3 is contingent upon that. I know we'll go back and forth on this, but there's ample evidence that children are sinners indeed yet before accountability would be cleansed by the blood of Jesus. I...

Yeah I hear ya Bav... Yet when it comes right down, if Faith could be lost then it would have to be in some part based on an action on our part; on works. And we're told repeatedly that Faith (well Grace through Faith if you wanna be technical) is what saves, not any work. And we're also told that ...

This means that all people who have ever been justified of their sins will enter into Heaven. That does NOT mean that all will be equally rewarded (see my previously mentioned 1 Co. references). I know I'm late to the conversation but there's a scripture I didn't see referenced. I completely agree ...

3)With regards to death I'd actually have much less problem with God taking a saved life - at least they move on to Salvation. Unsaved lives are another matter. Hmmm... Could an argument be made that when God kills children in the OT he's actually saving them from eternal damnation? Are these child...

God formed man out of the dust and gave him the 'breath of life' - Then man became a living soul. Then what is a dead soul? - A soul without a physical body? So, the conclusion is that God creates soul at birth, Also, to be noted is that humans do not enter the world the same way anymore. Your word...
