As a part of Adventist belief (there are a few I find no biblical backing...but some are more "traditional" and not really part of "Adventism"...I digress) as most of you know, is the belief in soul sleep. This belief would then render the question of what happens to the soul of...

. . As most of you already know, I am an Adventist. As a part of Adventist belief (there are a few I find no biblical backing...but some are more "traditional" and not really part of "Adventism"...I digress) as most of you know, is the belief in soul sleep. This belief would then...

I'd like to propose you gather your thoughts better and put them in one post...you seem to have this habit of back-to-back posts...every once in a while is ok, but the norm? :)

I believe the bible tells us to pray for our leaders. Yes it did not say vote, but I guess, by praying, we're showing an interest in political affairs & at the same time seeking wisdom for those at the top. Isn't that in a way influencing the country's leadership. If so, why stop there, why not...

. . If stones might "cry out", wouldn't animals cry out first? Maybe re-reading the 4th post to this topic may help in the scheme of "souls". The writer of Eccl. deems human and animal alike...human has no advantage. Again, I'll have to make this point...Animals did nothing to de...

Re: Tattoos

just wondering whether or not it is sinful to get a tattoo of a religious symbol such as a cross? i do not really think it is, because it is an everyday reminder of how the Lord sacrificed his life for me. i know it is a sin to desecrate your body, but i think haveing such a mark will serve a bette...

Kurieuo.
That may stick if Christ hadn't given Mary the reason why not to touch him.

The way Christ carries out his work on earth at present is through His body - The Church. What scripture upholds this specific to politics and government...and further, where does it say Christ's work is in politics? Our objective is to preach the gospel - Voting right can ensure a sustainable atmo...

. . I read some good points in your link. However, the author does not take into account that all politicians are crooked and hardly "Christian" even though they promote themselves as such. All one needs to look at to realize this is the manner in which they campaign. Neither are man enoug...

Is there/are there Biblical precedents that it is a Christian's duty to vote.

Is it true that a responsible Christian will vote?

Re: answer me this

If a loving God intended animals to suffer injury and die, why did he give them the ability to feel it, just like us? Does he long for something to torture? If God did not allow us to die, instead only allowed us to suffer, as your arguement here and on your site seems to imply, doesn't that imply ...

. . As Calvinist as it sounds...I see "God's Good Purpose" as reason enough. Animals aren't guilty of sinning as a choice, but were subjected to a life of "sin" as a result of man. Their "reconcilliation" is at the mercy of God without need of a savior. It's funny we're...

I'm not sure what an animal's concern for human life would have to do with its entrance into heaven?? As for the comment that animals haven't sinned . . . on one hand, this is true, but on the other, you have to look deeper into the curse that God set on the world. Satan is, undoubtedly, the "...

Re: but they are not like us!

Animals have not chosen sin, rather they, like the ground, were cursed because of man's sin. Animals are also God's creation...certainly not guilty of sin, but in sin as a result of man. God needs no legal basis to reconcile them to himself. Yea but you'll notice plants and rocks ain't going to hea...
