How do we know that God is infinite?
This question hit me today and left me a bit confused. If someone asked you how you knew that God is infinite, what would your answer be?

Re: Christ "living inside you" once becoming a Christian
I would think that "Christ living inside us" has to be taken in a figurative sense. Firstly because (to be overly obvious) no one is actually living inside us. I think when that term is used, it is supposed to portray the idea that the Holy Spirit is with us, moving us to become more like ...

Pastors loosing their faith
Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of thinking and I'm not sure what to decide about clergy members coming out as atheists. What is your opinion of someone who goes to seminary and ends up pastoring a church, declaring that they do not believe in god some number of years later?

Re: Salvation
Guys I believe in what Christ has done, I've done a years worth of research on the subject and continue to. I understand the desire to turn from sin based on trusting God, because it is sin that can and does ruin a persons life. What I don't understand is that Scripture seems to say that although wo...

Re: Salvation
I do not understand How exactly I am saved by Christ and why repentance and turning from sin is necessary for salvation. Aside from possible joy we might experience in following the will of God, why is it necessary to repent and turn from sin? Is our salvation contingent upon that? Are we saved simp...

Re: Salvation

Re: Salvation
so are works required? Is a change of behavior required after acceptance of salvation or is a person supposed to just want to accomplish good works once they realize that they have been saved?

Salvation
Hey guys, I have a confession to make. It seems that the more i study the subject of salvation, the less I understand it. My thoughts are, If Hell exists, there must be something one either does or does not do to get there. That would mean then, if and since Heaven exists, there must be something so...

Re: The Edge of Evolution (book) - disproved?
First off, read this - http://www.evolutionnews.org/2011/03/michael_behe_hasnt_been_refute044801.html Hey man, one thing to remember, evolutionists are viciously protective over their theory. What has turned into honest inquiry has become protection of a set of views. Behe's theory has NOT been refu...
