On the first point I agree, and that is why I suggest that the average rate of growth over 2000 years would be more telling than using the rate of today. Therein lies the problem. Using the growth rate for today doesn't give you an indication past growth rates (as you imply); however, assigning a s...

Maybe right now AND in science to get people learning more about it since I have noticed there are still tons of people that say "ID is repackaged Creationism", which if they weren't so freaking stupid they would see it isn't. Although I do realize that ID is not creationism, I think that...

Don't know don't care....so the legendary times is like the national enquirer or something? I don't know if the first part of your comment means you're not interested in the topic in general or you don't want to consider the validity of the source. However, when it comes to credibility and accounta...

Does anyone know if this find has been published in a reputable, peer-reviewed journal? I investigated the link to the source of the article, The Legendary Times, and found it is not a peer-reviewed journal...meaning you can basically write whatever you want and you don't have to face any challenge ...

What is your explanation for the singularity of the snake as a land animal? IT's not that adaptive to not have legs. Everything else on land has legs. Still don't understand what "singularity" means, but moving on...I would appreciate it if you could provide me with references you've used...

Misplaced quotes

So you'd only allow the problems with evolution to be taught outside of a science course? Absolutely not, if they can be addressed in a scientific manner. For example, the lack of fossils of what many refer to as "transitional species" might be considered a problem by some, but that can b...

Misplaced quote

Intelligent Design is based on science and says that life is way too complicated to have evolved, but requires a designer (and, the fun part is that it doesn't necessarily have to be God...you could say aliens did it, and that they were rather simple biologically speaking...) I'm not quite sure if ...

[/quote dad]Real science can't question God, or His future or past. They are mainly concerned with how the present works. This second statement is absolutely untrue, and insulting to scientists in just about any field I can think of! Give me an example of one branch of science that does not look at ...

Why does the decreasing size of the human population as one travels back through time suggest "zero humans" at the time you suggest a great flood occurs? This model of population growth appears to use mixtures of exponential and linear population growth to fit its predetermined conclusion....
