Re: Did Jesus really say we'd never know?
If you read Matthew carefully most of what he was referring to was the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD which did happen in people's life times where an estimated half a million Jews were killed. His second coming can be seen as an event yet to happen still. Also for one particular member of his au...

Did Jesus really say we'd never know?
So most of you here I'm sure heard about Harold Camping's claim of Judgement Day this coming Saturday May 21. (If there is a link to this topic could you please post it?) Anyway of course there are numerous stories on the topic and thousands of comments about it. I've ran across 2 comments several t...

Re: Question on being saved.
Look at the apostle Paul, who was Saul of Tarsus. See what Saul did to Christians before God spoke to him. I'll def. research that. I'm currently studying the Bible a little more in depth, and I still have lots to learn. I recently began looking into false prophets (yes because of Harold Camping Ma...

Re: Question on being saved.
You cannot bluff your way into heaven. Good point! If an evil person sees the light and becomes a God-loving missionary for Christ you should rejoice that the lost person has been found, rather than point out all the wrongs in their life. The parable of the prodigal son is a good illustration of th...

Question on being saved.
I have a question that I would like some input on. If someone murders, rapes, hurts, etc.. someone else and as they near the end of there life and accepts Jesus as there Lord and Savior do they go to Heaven? It doesn't seem fair (I know God only decides what's really fair) to someone who lives there...

Re: Question of the Day
But didn't people have a choice to accept him or not before he was killed on the cross? This is one question that has kind of baffled me for a while.
That and everyone keeps saying Jesus claims that Christ would return during Jesus' lifetime, but he never did....?

Re: Skeptic argument about the apostles motive
I've heard the hallucination theory before. The problem is 1 person can have there own hallucination. 500+ people can't have the same hallucination all at once....not possible :) From all my studies and just living life I believe a man won't die for something he doesn't truly believe. The fact that ...

Re: Please Introduce Yourself Here
Hello everyone! My name is Kevin a.k.a. Dark Pony! I'll give you a quick rundown of my story. Born and raised a Christian, at age 24 I left Christianity to be "open" and almost converted to atheism. Too many tough questions plagued me such as "how could a loving God allow suffering?&q...
