Re: For theistic evolutionists, question about Eve's creatio
Really? You don't see any difference between the results of the SDH translation and say, the NIV? Well, of course. The language used is completely different. And as I stated before, if you were to get out your KJV and Concordance, and parse out the verses, you would get a broader picture of each ve...

Re: For theistic evolutionists, question about Eve's creatio
Also, I read some pages from The Chronicle Project, I'm still a bit confused though. Is there, say, a (at least partial) translation of the Bible using this method? Also, since there are two "concepts" they combine together, isn't there at least some uncertainty as to what people thought ...

Re: For theistic evolutionists, question about Eve's creatio
I read an article the other day about anthropologists tracking the y chromosome from apes to man. Supposedly we branched from the apes in the order of 50 million years ago, but the change in the chromosome would have taken much longer than that to occur. Now they have to change their model in some w...

I kid you not you guys, google a little, the 24th chromosome, and so forth. Check out http://www.thechronicleproject.org/ and learn of the fundamental language that our brains were meant to function on. Google the "24th Hebrew letter". Check this place: http://www.ancient-hebrew.org/index....

Re: For theistic evolutionists, question about Eve's creatio
Or.. God "removed" a rib "form, curve, pattern, helix" from Adam to make eve. I know it sounds stupid, but I can't help but think He took the 24th chromosome, the xx, from Adam, to make Eve. There is no "Mrs. God". We are incomplete, with 23 chromosomes. We long for com...

Re: science and assumption
I'm afraid you're not going to get proof of the Christian God until He decides to offer it Himself. That is the whole point of the current system of salvation by faith. If there was proof, we wouldn't have to have faith.

Re: Important question about God's silence and lack of mirac
As a Christian, I'd have to say I've never seen or heard of a credible supernatural miracle in my life. And that's both God and Evil based ones. But consider what Christ had to say. In Mark, chapter 8:11-> And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heave...

Re: God's thought in eternity
Why do you keep referring to the three aspects of God as 'three different persons"? They are three parts of one thing, Him.
I have a body, and a soul. Am I two different people?

Re: why we think god in humanoid form
Don't forget when Christ transfigured Himself on the Mount, there's your physical image. Remember when He healed the blind man? He spat in the dust, made clay, applied it to the man's eyes, and asked, "What do you see?" "I see men, walking about as trees." Uh-huh.... Repeat the s...

Re: The Fall
You might also want to consider just exactly WHEN we fell. Man is born into sin. I suspect we fell before we got here, in fact we're here because of it. In Revelation, it says the dragon swept a third of the stars from the sky and cast them to the earth. And here we are, the prodigal sons of the Mos...

Re: Hawking and the new Atheists (part of a bigger problem).
I don't think Hawking is the problem. In the end, a 'one world order' will be established. The US in it's current form is an impediment to that. It's light must be extinguished, or at least dimmed for the order to overcome us. The Marxists have long held that this is easier done by ruining a nation ...

The Hebrew Language and Chromosomes
I've been following the research being done over at thechronicleproject.org, and it has me interested in the number 23. These guys assert that those that translated the Torah into English took great liberties. One Hebrew word, for example, is translated into over 80 different English words, many tot...
