Re: Gay Rights

So, if I read that correctly, you believe in a system where everyone is entitled to a "civil marriage" or "civil union" that gives the benefits of marriage regardless of the orientation of the couple, but also having the religious marriage be a more personal affair between one c...

Re: Gay Rights

Well, to be honest I agree that technically homosexuality is against the social norm. So is being born a sociopath. But to argue that they are both mental problems and should be persecuted as such is silly to me. Marriage is a complex issue, obviously. To a degree I agree that states shouldn't have...

Re: Scientist In Fight With NASA Over Intelligent Design

That's nice, but until everything comes together and science legitimately proves God as you think it will, it's not valid to use that in science. That's be like a string theorist writing a paper saying "my presuppositions will be proved pretty soon, so just pretend it works until then." H...

Re: Gay Rights

I don't remember anyone saying in the Bible that all people are created to be attracted to the opposite sex. Just that it should be illegal for anyone to do things sexually with the same sex. You are right, I am attracted to the opposite sex only so I can't tell you from experience that homosexuali...

Re: Scientist In Fight With NASA Over Intelligent Design

But what empirical evidence is there to tell prove that the development of life is a sole a scientific matter? Is there no meaning that can be derived from it the development? You may just ridicule and block its entrance into thought but that does not help find truth.

I would not give either of those movies much credibility.

Re: Why do men have more dominance than women?

It is the testosterone too. It makes us have a predisposition to knock something down and then beat our chest in pride. We are only considered more dominant because we want it more, so we strive for that reputation in the eyes of ourselves and others. Then we get into positions where we can abuse ou...

Re: "Secular Education"

I ould have to agree that a public education has to be secular for the sake of a common demoninator connecting worldview and all I can do is shake my fist at it. At least the public education should be making class time for thinking and less for daycare so that when I leave I know how to get an educ...

We owe a lot to Christian martyrs otherwise things may have gone bad for Romans and bible readers. it would be an honor to join their ranks anyway.

Re: Lies

In Exodus chapter one:

Shiphrah and Puah, midives for the isrealites, were ordered to kill newborn hebrews boys by the Pharoh and lied to in verse 19. because they feared God. A bible is just pieces of paper, ink(that can burn) and words (that are indestructable). Sin is in the heart not actions.

Re: It seems Richard Dawkins isnt a proper Atheist-guru !

I have to admit respect even when he was an atheist he is very consistent in being honest with what he feels. When he is in one mood you always know what to expect, but blessing onto him for not being a hard heart and admiting what he feels about God. Of course it may just be nothing in the end. Tim...

Re: Homeschooling

I have nothing against homeschooling. My kids have times of homeschooling. I don't condemn the entire public school system however. Our American public school system are bed-fellows with the lifestyle philosophies of our culture ... they are inseperable . I condemn both because both serve to produc...

Re: New Shroud of Turin discovery only a few days ago!

Not to put a dapper on the situation but the Shroud of Turin is most likely fake. They carbon twice both came out to around the 1470's. I'd ike to believe it's the Lord's burial cloth but the evidence is stacked against it. I personally believe it was made by Da Vinci using an early form of photogr...
