Re: atheist
See, you are dragging everybody else, including myself, into your religious beliefs. You are saying that your god controls me and I deserve eternal damnation, as does everybody else, and that I will get it. That is just a [love] up way of thinking. Religion is fine when its "This is what I thi...

Kind of a treat others the way you want to be treated type thing. My big thing with vocal atheism, and athirst looking for convert...

Re: Homeschooling
What would be bad? I can see that a sheltering effect is harmful since people become ignorant about others but I do not like public schools myself being part of one all of my student life and I can't blame people for choosing not to put their children there. But not only is it done to instill belief...

Just saying...If he's trying to convince me that we should cut welfare and medical insurance so that the rich people don't have to pay for it...I ask him this: If we are living in a socialist state that redistributes the wealthy people's money, why do we have one of the worst wealth distributions i...

Re: Animals given Human Rights
I'm not sure what the big deal is here. I've pointed this out in another post, humans for all of history have vastly underestimated the capacity of animals. Whales, dolphins, apes, and elephants, in particular, are obviously fully capable of thinking, emotion, having distinct personalities, high-le...

Re: What is the BIGGEST argument you get?
I get that it is a selfish idea that purpose exist within humans, cosidering our fragality, small size, and breif time in existence in the universe. I don't see how It's "Selfish"? I find it Loving that God himself died for his creations, instead of his creations dying for themselves, yea...

Almighty Agape and Khesed. When you think about it it seems like an oxymoron. But we all know deep inside that it truly is superior. But what of its measure? It measured through sacrifice and fear. God limits his own soveriegnty for us with his word and sacrificed total mandate of fear so that we ma...

Come on guys an ancient writing always deserves respect no matter what opinions you have of the ideas held within. Junk? Stay away from it? When I said I would "stay away" I should have written, I would not use it in conjunction with the Bible as a source of God's word. I would read it as...
