Re: Is homosexuality harmful?
To be fair to audacity, the world natural has probably been repeated so much most people are simply confused , hear natural and assume it means something opposite to man made or perhaps what animals do in the wild, like audacity seems to, or perhaps they think it means something genetic,so many more...

Re: Miraculous healings today
The outlandish fakery of many nominal Christians is very disturbing. I can well understand the yearning of many for purity in their church, seeing the maggot ridden mass of corruption that so much of it is. Of course, Talibans think that way too. Purity, purity. Matt 13:24-30 If I'm understanding t...

Re: Jesus!
By grace through faith in christ, you mean the Christ that died for our sins and rose on the third day, correct? Which naturally means cults like christian science, or jw would be excluded ?

Re: Ten Commandment Monument removed
Of course there is merit to not killing one another, but we don't need stone tablets to tell us that, again back to my point, the law is written in our hearts, hence the two greatest commandments.

Matthew 19:9
To that list would obviously be physical abuse.

Re: Ten Commandment Monument removed
None of the old covenant laws are valid anymore, that's the point of a new covenant

The law is no longer written in tablets, but in our hearts , something like that

Re: Ten Commandment Monument removed
i always thought this verse Matthew 22:37-40 was the reason we didn't follow the ten commandments anymore. that along with it being part of the old covenant.

Re: We're going to be the majority soon
I'm no Obama fan, but that "Muslim faith" quote seems pretty obvious to what he actually meant. Just listen to his explanation after Stephanopoulos corrected him and said, "Christian faith". Obama then said that Mccain didn't talk about him being a Muslim. It wasn't a slip that ...

Re: Chat suggestion
This might actually be a nice idea, but then again i have an addon that blocks all youtube comments. After a while, that kind of thing can get nauseating. Free speech is great, i just wish they used it to do more than hurl insults.so maybe try this out for a while, maybe people be more reasonable i...

Re: Introduction to Philosophy
2nd day, Talked about Plato, mostly his theory of forms and such , seemed to be some general confusion, on one note though, there was a very short talk something about string theory proving something about people being one conscious, but i probably misheard. and I'm sure it won't interfere with the ...

Re: Introduction to Philosophy
First class was today, it was decent enough, at least at the beginning. the syllabus highlighted the basic topics, one of them though said to understand why the problem of evil presents a challenge to western theology, i personally didn't think it did. The major topic was epistemology and it very mu...
