Re: Wolf to Dog or vice versa
Wolves are the wild ancestors of dogs. When some dogs came to be domesticated by humans, they were bred to have certain traits that helped them aid humans in hunting and companionship in general. The domestication brought these dogs to other parts of the world that their wolf ancestors were not acc...

Re: Genesis flood question to ponder
I just thought about this question. If the flood was truly global as some creationists suggest, and the tops of the highest mountains were covered, including Mt. Everest, then how did those on the ark breathe? If Mt. Everest is 29,000 feet above sea level, and water seeks its own level, then the ar...

Re: Physicists find new particle
Now, IF we have a particle that seems to have always existed ( since it doesn't need anything to make it exist - self-existing) then, IF this particle can cause energy and "life" to "happen", then there is no reason to think that it would NOT have eventually caused the "big...

Re: Physicists find new particle
Whenever I (attempt to) read such an article, I lose self-confidence regarding my intelligence... So, what if they "discover" this particle? What will that mean to an average person who doesn't deal with physics? :D perhaps you may care to refer to my recent topic 'Humpty Dumpty Sc...

Re: Genesis flood question to ponder
not at all - exactly the opposite is the way - what is amazing is the many and various ways tried by man in a desperate attempt to return home and unite with God etc - imagine lost sheep trying to find the Good Shepherd and getting ever more and more lost, instead of staying put and praying that the ...

Humpty Dumpty Science ?
it seems that one of the greatest,if not the greatest, achievement of science was the dematerialisation of matter.Having knocked Humpty Dumpty off the wall,it seems it is now desperately trying to put it all togetrher again as dark matter or hidden matter etc whilst desperately trying not to accept ...

Re: Catholic doctrine of Creation
Paul - like many others it seems it is you who are confused and not God and the writer of Genesis[Moses] inspired by God "for if you do not believe what Moses wrote you and others cannot believe what Christ taught and this seems to be the case as proved by what you have accepted and written and...
