Re: This is a really nice thought provoking article...
Let's be careful how we say "more desireable." I agree with the article. All too often we elevate apologetics to a place it doesn't deserve. A person doesn't trust Christ because of some great argument. A person trusts Christ because they see the need of saving. There is nothing more desi...

Re: This is a really nice thought provoking article...
That was a fantastic article. It really made me think about how I should focus my apologetics. Of course, if they want reason, then they can have it. Also, it appears I wasn't the first to say that most atheistic arguments are not arguments, but illogical insults: Bill Maher, Christopher Hitchens, P...

Anti-Christian Fiction
I already made a thread on Christian fiction, as in stories that have a Christian message, but are there any you think have an anti-Christian or atheistic message? More importantly, what is your reaction to seeing or reading these stories? Do you get offended? Do you try to refute it in your head (&...

Re: Movie Release "The Golden Compass"
I saw the movie and while it was most certainly anti-authority, I didn't find it anti-christian at all. They watered it down. I don't think a movie that blatanly anti-Christian could be released in America. Then again, Family Guy and other blatanly anti-Christian propaganda exists, but it isn't aim...

Re: Movie Release "The Golden Compass"
I know this is a little too late, but when one of my friends found out it was anti-Christian, he freaked out and yelled "AND I USED TO LIKE THOSE BOOKS!" and that he didn't even know.

Re: Proof that GOD Exists
Not to mention another flaw with subjective morality: the heroes and criminals. If we hold subjective morality to be true, then history's worst criminals and villains would be people like Mother Teresa, William Wilberforce, Buddha, Martin Luther King Jr., Mohandas Ghandi and Jesus Christ. Why? Becau...

I know this is a little too late, but What's So Great About Christianity by Dinesh D'Souza is simply amazing.

Re: Debunking Dawkins?
Even if it is very easy to debunk, Rich should continue with it anyway. If atheists see that the refutation was not finished, then they'll think that he couldn't finish it because it's too hard.

Re: Christian Fiction
I think I realized that my novel idea would not be a very good way to spread a Cristian message, and I also had a lot of trouble making characters (not one of my strong suits) because I had to make them like teenagers (the demographic) without resulting to cliches (Jock, Nerd, Everyman, Psychopath, ...

Re: So Christians are unintelligent??
1 Corinthians 1:18-31 18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, “ I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.” 20 Where is the wise man? Where is t...

They also have forum. It's called "Why Doesn't God Heal Amputees?" I didn't bother looking at it for more than a few minutes. Here's Rich's response to that website: http://www.godandscience.org/apologetics/why_wont_god_heal_amputees.html That was good. I'm pretty sure if Brain saw it, he...

Re: Laws of an Atheist Utopia
10. All atheists should never swear by the name of “god” or anything resembling to it, phrases like Holy god, Holy mother of God, oh Jesus!, I swear to God, God-damn it O my God Holy [poop] are to be replaced by dear Aristotle, dear mother of Aristotle oh NEWTON! I swear to the earth’s gravitationa...
