I walked up, and down, a big hill today. It was great. The pic is from about halfway up as the view at the top was grey all round due to cloud cover.

It would also be nice if other people posted their photos in this thread

That's a beautiful picture. Since living in Florida, I don't see much of that anymore. Florida is really flat. Is that Scotland? I really have to visit someday. I'm only the 2nd generation born in the U.S. On my Mom's side. They were from Scotland.

Yeah, It's Scotland. Ben Lomond, overlooking Loch Lomond.

I upload my photos to my gmail/picasa account and then link to them. That bit was quite easy.
Making the picture clickable took me a bit longer to figure out.

I have a gmail account, I upload my photos to it and link to them from here. Find a picture online, right click on it, copy the image address and paste the address into your God and Science post. Then highlight the address and click on the little Img box just above the posting area.

If you quote this post you should be able to see the code for this picture I just found in a google image search:
Image
If you can see it online, and it's not too big, you can put it in your post.

You can also upload pics directly from your computer to God and Science. Just click on the tab below the posting box marked 'upload attachment', choose a file from your computer and add it. Again the problem is often that the picture is to large.

I tried to upload a couple but they're too big. Will try to post them on photobucket or something then provide a link.

I think I've got it (Lebanon pics). Click here then click View Slideshow. First one is of the Jounieh Bay, 2nd is my backyard at sunset, 3rd is the famous Lebanon Cedar tree, and last is the Harissa church (overlooking the Jounieh Bay from which the first pic was taken).

One of my friends has on his facebook in the "Religious views" item written:
"The Alps remain one of the best....."
He is American and travelled the whole world.

By the way, I have couple of more photos from Alps, Washington state and my home country Slovakia on my homepage. Wanna see it?

I'll need to get busy taking some pics of the Great Smoky Mountains. I live at the foothills.

Here are two of our webcams, so you can see what's going on in the GSMNP. Rainy today, so all you see is fog. http://www.nps.gov/grsm/photosmultimedia/webcams.htm

Jlay, I live just outside Jacksonville.

Do you live near Dollywood? My bro in law and his family went to that area recently(Pigeon Forge). They loved it. It reminded him of when he lived in New Hampshire.

Just in the next county over. I am a season ticket holder, and one of my friends is in the Kingdom Heirs, which is the Southern gospel group that's been performing there for years.

My father lives in Ormand Beach.
