I would love to go to Israel one day and meet my relatives, and i think it would also be a spiritual journey for me like coming home after a being away for a very long time.
The only thing that would hold me back is all the violence there at the moment.
1Tim1:15-17
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.Amen.

Yes.. Ultimately. How? I'm not really sure except that they are moved in the spirit somehow.
Well the prophecies describing what will happen before and after the Messiah age happens. I will have to look up my information on the Messiah and Messiah age in my books. Give me some time to look up my books.

I believe the persecution of the Jew's is the work of Satan, he wants to destroy God's people.
Oh yes I fully agree.. Satan is trying to kill the Jews so that the covenants will be broken. It's a spiritual problem but often we don't see that with spiritual eyes.

Unfortunately there is nowhere a Jew can hide. :esad:

By the way. What do you and the others think of Satan? Satan is just an angel in my book. Basically all Satan does is a job for G-d. Which is tempting people to sin. Do you agree or disagree?

Oh.. You would have a blast in Israel. It's the media that overblows things out of proportion. I felt very safe there.. Safer than some cities I've been in the U.S..

Don't listen to the media...

Doesn't the scripture say that he rebelled against God because he wanted to be like him? Ezekiel 28:15-17
What passages from scripture support your view of Lucifer?

Well... If you are a Christian we are to be extremely opposed to anything that deals with satan. He is only an angel, but a corrupt one that temps people. Yes...

I wouldn't think he does a "job" for G-d.

I would say he does the job unknowingly and unwantingly, what do you think *edit* but i never think it was God's plan to make him that way

Oh yes.. I wouldn't deny that. The mechanics of that are not exactly clear however.. I do have some theories however.

Well angels cannot rebel against G-d in Judaism. Angels are perfect beings who cannot sin or have free-will. Very different between humans and angels. I believe the Lucifer title is for a defeated Babylonian king.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucifer Wikipedia has a good article. Detailing the Christian and Jewish view of Lucifer.

My family wants to go to Israel also. We have never been there. My girlfriend is also a Jew and we're thinking of all going this Holiday Season.

You mean that G-d can take a negative and turn it into a positive? Sure... I'd be up for that, but I wouldn't say however that his ways are blessed either..

Wouldn't this mean that God is tempting us, and wouldn't this go against the perfect nature of God?
