Do you mean, Roger Maris? The real homerun king?

Oh, sorry. Different Maris. Nevermind.

I know baseball is an American pasttime, and Roger Maris is a Yankee :xxpuke: , but he deserves the crown.

Ah, the English Disease. The only known cure is to change your loyalties, and become a Man U fan. Come to the dark side, Danny. And together we can rule the Premier league, as Man U fans.

I think the fact that we never see her is the funniest thing about it. More than once they tease the audience and you get close to seeing her, but as the legend of Maris grows it becomes pretty clear that they just couldn't show her. After all, after years and years of talking about Maris' appearance, what actress could possibly play her?

Gags like that have been done in the past on other sit coms and in general they seem to be pretty effective. Worked well on Frasier.

Didn't we see Maris in Cheers? So long ago...I can't remember.
Acts 17:24-25 (NIV)
"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. [25] And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else."
