Did Jesus believe in ghosts?
Re: Did Jesus believe in ghosts?
There is a reason why necromancy is forbidden in scripture.
Let us proclaim the mystery of our faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.
Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

Do you mean kinda like a demon vacation?I'm sure the demons have the same type of dominion. I once read somewhere that they do even the littlest things sometimes to try and get us to be even just agitated, like bumping our elbows into things and instilling a thought to exclaim negatively; using the Lord's name in vain or swearing, just as a small example. Oy. You'd think they could just lay off..

John 5:24
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

To sustain the belief that there is no God, atheism has to demonstrate infinite knowledge, which is tantamount to saying, “I have infinite knowledge that there is no being in existence with infinite knowledge".

What's to explain, the practice is detrimental to one's soul.Murray wrote:explain...Byblos wrote:There is a reason why necromancy is forbidden in scripture.

If they had a social gospel in the days of the prodigal son, somebody would have given him a bed and a sandwich and he never would have gone home.

After reading your answer, I did the same: I googled ''existential angst''. The various hits under that heading were even funnier than what the anonymous poster intended! He - the anonymous poster - especially liked the reference to Caco ergo sum* on Wikipedia's Uncyclopedia which pretty well sums up this whole topic about Jesus & ghosts.RickD wrote:I had to google "existential angst". *How do I translate this politely into English? Hmmm...a literal translation in Spanish it would be Cago, entonces soy. In French it would be Je shis, donc je suis...which has a nice rhyme to it...!
A politically-correct English version would be: This bunk smells of skunk.
