Yeah, I was watching on Fox News, and this one guy somehow involved with that stuff says that many Hispanics are caught and allowed to continue through America-some are even caught committing crimes and let go. It's estimated that there may be over 20 million illegals in this country--- most of them being Mexican.AttentionKMartShoppers wrote:

The only Mexico we had were our Southwestern states, not all of Mexico.AttentionKMartShoppers wrote:I think we should have kept Mexico and not given it back. Then, we'd have a much smaller border farther south, we wouldn't need passports to go to some of the nice beaches and resorts in Mexico, and the Mexicans wouldn't have to come here illegally.
Ochotseat, America invaded all of Mexico when we went to war. We marched all the way to the capital I do believe. We took out Mexico, and gave it back basically. Overpopulation...hahah.ochotseat wrote:The only Mexico we had were our Southwestern states, not all of Mexico.AttentionKMartShoppers wrote:I think we should have kept Mexico and not given it back. I'm sure most Americans would not want our country to annex Mexico since we'll be burdened with crime, taxes, and overpopulation if that were to occur. You may like Mexico, but some of us would prefer to stay away from it as well as other hostile third world countries, except for evangelizing of course.
We occupied Mexico City, their capital, but we didn't capture all of Mexico. The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo ended the Mexican-American War and gave the USA undisputed control of Mexican territory in North America. In return, Mexico received compensation to help cover their cost of war.AttentionKMartShoppers wrote:

I think this quote explains the entire fallacy of this topic. In Christianity, you are not forced to give up money. Jesus tells us how much we should tithe, and tells us that we should feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and all that good stuff. At no point, however, does God force us at gunpoint to do such a thing. Nor does he implement any kind of institution to force you to do so either -- the church is only allowed to make known what you should do, not make you do it.First off, you are required to give up money.
