Excessive fire-power should be kept out of the hands of most mere men.Without people their can be no gun crime, but of course, without guns....It turns into knife crime, Well it's easy to run from a knife and the protection is cheaper. Perhaps Weapons should be only allowed into the hands of people who would use them for the good of all humans.

How do you determine or who determines what hands all weapons should be allowed to. And how can it be enforced worldwide?

I have no Idea, and I would never suggest that it is me who decides who get them. If it was up to me then barely anyone would have them, except for police and armed forces and people with a insane interest.( clay pigeons anybody?)

As much as it would be nice to freely trust anybody I would prefer to go by the old adage; 'Better to be safe, than sorry' Meaning that It would be very difficult In a country where I am Caesar for anyone to get a weapon. But to be perfectly honest, most good leaders are unafraid of ruffling a few feathers, Its pretty much a difficult call on either, everyone has them or barely anyone has them(apart from those that Need them the most)

I find it very difficult to believe that

means people who are bearing arms, true men of peace use words as weapons they do not need technological fire-power when the greatest weapon is a sharply honed brain, body and essence. All with the utmost of care, consternation, consideration and contemplation. Its really Hard to choose which of those C's you would really want in super-abundance isn't it?
