Earliest yet manuscript of Mark found?

Post by narnia4 »

Kind of surprised this hasn't been in the news more, only ran across it on a forum. Dan Wallace announced while debating Bart Ehrman that there was a fragment of Mark that a paleographer dated as being first century. Very sketchy details so far, here's a link that is very "cautious".

Interesting stuff. Obviously caution is warranted and the proper processes must be carried out, so it will probably be a while before things are confirmed or debunked. And obviously even if you think you have a good case for something being from a certain period, in reality its not often neat and tidy with everyone agreeing.
