I was just curious, I wasn't going to participate but just wanted to do some research in regards to them defending what they believe against what a Christian believes.

As yet I havn't found one that you can openly discuss what they believe, most have a list of rules 3 pages long, reeks of control.

I bet if you keep searching, you'll find something. Why not go to that forum, and just be honest, and tell them that you want to learn more about their religion? While you're at it, get yourself a study Koran and read it. The Meaning of the Holy Qur'an by 'Abdullah Yusuf Ali is excellent and has the English translation juxtaposed with the Arabic. The KJV English that Yusuf Ali uses is a little tiresome, so if that bothers you try The Koran by N.J. Dawood...it is in modern English.
I think you'll find that Muslims never read the Koran but they most certainly idolize the book itself.

See if your church has a copy?! I can't imagine why a church would have a copy...that would be a little like a church keeping porn on hand.
