If you haven't heard about it or seen it yet, 180 is a 33 minutes Pro-life film definitely worth watching

I don't agree with 100% of the film, and the arguments aren't particularly sophisticated; but they do work so far as they go. Certainly good enough for much of the type of people we meet day to day. I highly recommend.

And that, brothers and sisters, is the kind of foolishness you get people who insist on denying biblical theism. A good illustration of any as the length people will go to avoid acknowledging basic truths.Proinsias wrote:I don't think you are hearing me. Preference for ice cream is a moral issue

Re: 180
I had issues with the film, as I've previously noted. It plays too hard on what I consider to be totally invalid emotional plays and the film uses clips from the holocaust for no reason other to invoke emotional responses that might carry over to their argument. I think a lot of the arguments aren't valid, but he's a very smooth talker so it sounds nice and neat at first glance. The careful editing out of the people who initially disagree is a bit laughable, as these types of documentaries can so easily just pick the most easily influenced people to show, so that kind of bites (you don't really get to hear any kind of other side).
