What's your general political ideology?

Capitalism is the best so far, the most Biblical. You reap what you so (basically). Also, it plays to man's evil nature the best (communism/socialism don't take this into account, which is just one reason they aren't any good).

I'm a moderate, chiefly because I feel it's best to weigh all the points of view before coming to a conclusion, and that this process must be done without partiality.

Actually, my political orientation is dependent on he party.

My biggest beef is abortion. If one party doesn't promote abortion, I'm for it. If they're both anti-abortion, I go down the list of issues.

Right now, I'm Republican.

Abortion: Agree
Homosexuality: Agree
War in Iraq/Afghanistan: Agree
Religion: Agree
Stem Cell Research: Agree
Gun control: Agree
Death penalty: Disagree
Fiscal policies: Undecided (I'm not knowledgeable enough to make a good judgment)

The Vatican is also against the death penalty. The U.S. is the only Western country that still executes criminals, and it should stay that way.

Just a bit of Catholic Catechism to throw out:
The Catholic Church does not condemn execution if these is no other way to defend the community. (For example, if a maniac is on some frontier expedition, death might be the only way to prevent him from harming others.)

Secondly, I'm not sure what you meant. Do you mean the death penalty shouldn't expand, or that the U.S. should continue executions?

And one last thing that's been sorta bugging me... what does your name mean?

And one last thing that's been sorta bugging me... what does your name mean?

I meant that we should expand the death penalty (a few states don't have it) and continue them Texas style---August would like that.

Before I answer the question that bugs you, can you take a shot at it first?

i don't think so. i used to believe in it when i wanted to hurt people. after i found God i realized that i was wrong. but, maybe a little. i think i could easily be there. others i know could easily be there. and i know what brought us to that possibility. and i think everyone should have a second chance.

Nope. It's a combination of a show and an amusement park. What about "Forge"? Is it the American Indian guy from Marvel comics?

Forge... hmm. I don't really know why I chose this name. I think it's both cool-sounding and profound.
