Re: Reincarnation in scriptures
I'm not Jewish or Christian but I have come across people linking the idea of being born again with reincarnation, thought that's what you might be driving at. As to what happens at or after physical death, I don't know and I don't think you do either.

Re: Reincarnation in scriptures
This is my 57th incarnation. I have previously been a guard in Amenhotep's service, an elephant in what is now the Caprivi strip of Namibia, a spider (that was a short life), an iguana, and an African woman that befriended the English explorer Mungo Park.

Re: Reincarnation in scriptures
Only 57! ha. I'm on 128, here's me thinking you had the edge on me experience wise.
Keen to hear about the others, worried we might lose you to eternity as you've converted to Christianity at 57, so no time like the present. I am suspicious of your claims about Mungo Park, I'm finding it hard to believe that one can truly befriend a Scotsman and then describe him as English.

Proinsias, I believed FL, on all except the spider.(that seemed a little far-fetched). Good eye on the Scotsman/Englishman error. I can personally vouch for FL, being an iguana though. My great granddaddy had a pet iguana, with a French accent, named Liechtenstein.

Your question is too vague, maybe if you define what you mean by reincarnation first.

1Tim1:15-17
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.Amen.

Re: Reincarnation in scriptures
I swear that Mungo told me he was ENGLISH! (If Mungo lied to me about being English, what else did he lie about? Did he really love me? I'm heartbroken! I should've listened to the shaman who told me not to trust that white boy.)Proinsias wrote:I am suspicious of your claims about Mungo Park, I'm finding it hard to believe that one can truly befriend a Scotsman and then describe him as English.
