Matthew 15, Mark 7 and the women
Was the women whose daughter Jesus healed a Canaanite woman or Syrophoenician?
But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.

the answer to that is both. the Syrophoenicians were phoenicians who dwelt in the land of cannan and integrated with the greeks. phoenicians were cannanites. the woman was a phonecian which were of cannanite decent and she was either part greek or adhered to the greek faith which was common of the phoenicians.

Our rightousness is of filthy rags and in the eyes of God all have gone astray and nobody is justified under the Law. We are saved by the Grace of God through our faith in Him and in Him who he has sent Jesus Christ alone. There is no other way.
