Ok I'm A Newb
New to the forum...just thought I'd say hi. I became an OEC a little over a year ago and this site (in addition to Reasons To Believe) has really helped me make sense of what I just couldn't understand/answer/reason as an YEC. I look forward to posting here and meeting some cool folks to chat with, and borrow some more apolgetics tools from. Thank you.

So, your thinking on creation/age issues - did it suddenly hit you in mere "days," resulting in an amazing epiphany, or did it simply "evolve" over a very long period of time?

What started my process, was that it seemed really hard to imagine that Adam named the various animals, tended the garden, and got lonely all in 24 hours. That seems untenable to me. That then led to other issues like, if he named the animals, then why do some have predatory names? That doesn't fit the YEC milieu.
