Posting one piece of scripture is not a valid response to the original post.

I would like you to stop paying your electric bill, when your lights go out due to non payment, sit in your room, do not contact anyone or do anything other than pray until the power to comes back on. When that happens come back here and post.

Thanks,
Jordan

Religion is static, it does not allow change.

Prove me wrong?

There are many theological positions, hermeneutics, and clarifications that have changed for the past 2000 years concerning Christianity. What do I get for proving you wrong?

You are presuming that God answers all prayers with a yes, sometimes the answer is no, especially when you are able to do that something yourself. :shakehead:

All I can say is LOL.

Anyway on a serious note, I have experienced many answered prayers and sometimes it has been multiple answers for the same thing over a period of weeks or months, once is coincidence, twice maybe, but three or four times seals the deal for me.

You can't test God with studies, Deuteronomy 6:16 "do not test the LORD your God as you did at Massah." indicates that testing the Lord is not a good thing.

Since God is all knowing maybe he decides to fudge these tests, but like most things we will never know.

1Tim1:15-17
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.Amen.
