..Need an interesting Topic:Thinkin about babies

Post by tunde1992 »

i like to think, its my favorite pastime , i have 2 sides , a skeptical and a christian side, they argue back and forth(using a lot of metaphors) here :ewink:
and lately i ve been thinking about babies
and i thought aren"t sperm full of babies
and to fertillize an egg dosent it require thosaunds of sperm
i mean some die dont they?
dosent that mean babies die so i random one can be born?
i dont know really
kinda attacking my own special creation belief....
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

and i thought aren"t sperm full of babies
Are they? Or do they simply carry the potential to each become a baby? And if so, does that mean a sperm can be called a baby? Or just a cell with the potential to form life? y:-?
and to fertillize an egg dosent it require thosaunds of sperm
It is actually only 1 sperm. but between 400-600 million sperm are ejaculated from the man and then there's this big massive free for all [paints quite a funny image in my head] where the sperm blindly race to find the egg, the one that finds the bullseye eventually becomes a beautiful little baba
dosent that mean babies die so i random one can be born?
Again, at what point does a fetus become a child? At what point during the conception and growth process of a fetus in the womb does it actually become a human life? When the brain starts working? When the heart starts beating? When physical human features develop? When it can move on its own?

Personally, I'm not too clear on when a baby becomes a baby mainly because it's such a subjective issue, working that out is up to you I guess, but I don't think it contradicts creation. :)

I did this in class, by the way. I'm not a sperm/conception expert. ;)

You can actually see this exact scene here. 'Follow me, I know where I'm going, I've got a map ...' hilarious. :pound:

I wouldn't say "lucky". More like "best swimmers". :D

But I think the important question is, where do sperm go when they die? Is there a kind of sperm purgatory? Maybe sperm go straight to paradise, where there are 72 virgin eggs waiting for each sperm?

That just sounds blasphemous, doesn't it...
