Discussion about scientific issues as they relate to God and Christianity including archaeology, origins of life, the universe, intelligent design, evolution, etc.
My first thought is that yes God created all things, but we, and only we, were created in His image. We are not on the same plane as apes, they were created with the animals, we were created separately in the image of God.
They cannot have a soul in the same sense we have a soul. They cannot make a decision about salvation, they have no understanding of eternal life, they have no understanding of God, they cannot make a decision based on God's laws. Will they be in heaven? I don't know, I have heard arguements both ways and the Bible, I think, does not address the situation.
