Foolish people aplenty in this world.
1Tim1:15-17
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.Amen.

Re: WLC taking someone down a peg...
The only legit doubters of Christ's existence are those that doubt that the Christ of the NT existed, not that the MAN existed.
Many times people that are zealous in their skepticism confuse that distinguished and make silly claims that historians/history proved that Christ never existed.
As for the rest of his argument, you can see that this person has no idea what Christianity is about or what defines a person as a "Christian".

I learned a new word-prevaricator. I feel smarter now.
John 5:24
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
“A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves.”
-Edward R Murrow

I am actually surprised that WLC wasted his time on that question, must have been a slow week.

It would be a blessing if they missed the cairns and got lost on the way back. Or if
the Thing on the ice got them tonight.
I could only turn and stare in horror at the chief surgeon.
Death by starvation is a terrible thing, Goodsir, continued Stanley.
And with that we went below to the flame-flickering Darkness of the lower deck
and to a cold almost the equal of the Dante-esque Ninth Circle Arctic Night
without.
