... to Asia, leaving early this coming Wednesday AM. She is with Youth With A Mission, and is preparing to move there (I'm intentionally being non-specific). This trip will be for a couple of months.

Thanks! I've been remiss. She arrived safe and is booking down on the language. Last year she celebrated July 4th in Africa and a week later a country's first Independence Day. She celebrated this year with pizza ... I didn't ask her about the provenance of the cheese ... which may not have been bovine (other possibilities include ovine and caprine).

DD's trip has been fruitful, including a possible part-time job helping teach English to children learning English. Besides the $$, this could bring her into contact with people there. She will be returning to the US in a couple weeks, so please pray that she gets things set up for her eventual move and for a safe return trip.

So, DD ("Dear Daughter") will start her trip home this coming Friday (BTW, she's on the other side of the International Dateline from the US). She'll have a few days to reduce her jet-lag, and then joins us for a family vacation.
