One of my all-time favorite songs is Mighty High by Mighty Clouds of Joy. Plus it doesn't hurt that it has a great beat  . Was just listening to it while typing this, can't get enough of it. :cloud9: The whole album is great too.
Let us proclaim the mystery of our faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.

Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

From the band Secret Garden (my most favorite)

But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.
-- 1 Thessalonians 5:21

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

What A Friend We Have In Jesus- I know it's old and daggy but I love it's message and if you know the story behind it and why it was written it makes it even more touching.
1Tim1:15-17
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.Amen.

I guess this is a Christian song. It's hard to believe this was 30 years ago.
It's not necessarily my favorite Christian song, but it's my favorite Christian song from my favorite band.
U2 "40"

Wow, I feel old!
John 5:24
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

“A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves.”

This may be my favorite Christmas song. I still get chills when I hear it. This is a good version:

Arghhhh! I've edited my list above, but two songs by 2nd Chapter of Acts and a song by Barry McGuire were no longer on You Tube due to copyright claims. I respect the copyrights and this board, hence my edit. My opinion is that having the songs on You Tube had more advertising value than any possible loss of song sales.

Here are two songs that were sung at our wedding. The latter is a traditional hymn, that some hymnals title "Fairest Lord Jesus", with different ordering of the verses. The link below is the translation I grew up with. The former is a 1970s Jesus Music song, so I had some hope of finding it on You Tube, but did not (I understand why, the marriage it celebrated didn't last, but human failure doesn't change the truth in the song; our marriage is at 33 years and counting).

You're a Gift

Beautiful Savior

Here is some more music from the Jesus Music era:

2nd Chapter of Acts - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmxcotW-O0w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gggPpVtEKQ

Barry McGuire - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxoRzqZnP98
