Hey, I got an obviously biased e-mail from a Canadian or US treehugger who made some grand claims about the oil that is in the Arctic Wildlife Refuge in Alaska:

1) only enough for 3 months
2) wouldn't be ready for 8-10 years
3) would be shipped overseas

NOW, I don't believe them, because they're so biased and didn't site anything, and these buggers have been known to edit the truth. So, any of this true?

She then gives a site where we can say "DON'T DRILL FOR OIL! IT'LL BOTHER A HANDFUL OF CARIBOU! (maybe)"

The reality is that you never really know how much oil there is somewhere unless you go find it. There seems to be oil pretty much everywhere though, so having huge reserves up there wouldn't suprise me at all.
