Hey everyone, for the past couple of days, this has been a big topic on facebook, and I was curious as to what you all think. Here is the article that it all stems from.

Oy! Jesus lived in and the Gospels were written in the First Century. For the sake of historical perspective, Mohamed lived in the 7th Century, so the Qur'an may be older than this papyrus fragment; IOW, it has slightly more credibility than a Dan Brown novel.

It's an archaeological curiosity whose significance is how weird some corners of the church had gotten 5-8 centuries after Jesus lived and the books of the New Testament were written. Not that reality will in any way affect people's "itching ears".
