Hearing is just electrical signals in the brain, so whether it is internal or external you still "hear it".

Since hearing is just electrical signals, these signals can be manipulated to make people hear things which arn't there. A voice from the sky wouldn't prove anything other than the possibility of a conspiracy on a world wide government scale, it will probably be blamed on RFID chips being implanted in the brain or some other crazy notion.
1Tim1:15-17
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.Amen.

Yes I do believe that people would find any excuse, there are many wacky conspiracies people believe all the time. I can't even count how many times atheists tell me Jesus never even existed. :pound:

Forget Atheists! They are a tiny minority! The most powerful people on Earth are Christian! From the President, the vast majority of politicians, Judges, CEO's most of the people with the power and influence are Christian! Now you telling me that those Christians with all that power will look for an excuse to deny an obvious revealation of their God? That they would dismiss a chance to prove once and for all that their God is real and all those others are fake? You don't think all those Christians would use all their power and resources; from the military to the media to Television to what-not to confirm their faith? You are a Christian; would you do that?

First of all I would not do that as faith is a very personal thing, I would never force my beliefs onto another person. Secondly we have been talking about non believers hearing a booming voice from the sky, why would God need to convince people who already believe, that's just ridiculous.

Edit 1. There are some pretty bold assertions in your statement above and I have put them in bold, do you have any proof of these claims?

Edit 2. Just to note our former Prime Minister Julia Gillard was avowed atheist, the Prime Minister of France is also an atheist, despite his Wiki profile I am pretty sure the President of Russia Vladamir Putin is and I am sure there are many others. There has been studies done on people in positions of power and they found that a lot of these people have sociopath and psychopathic traits, usually people who lack empathy are not very spiritual.

My mistake! I erroroneusly assumed you were from the United States. In the USA the country is practally ownd and run by christians. there was a recent study done after the Presidential elections about the likely hood of electing people, and Atheists were the last peoplle on the list of a person whey would elect; behind Muslim, Homosexual, Women, Minority's, etc. the Atheist was the last person Americans would vote for. Our current president is the only non-white male President we have ever in the history of the Country.

But back to the subject at hand, if your faith would prevent you from lying to hide the truth of the true God, why wouldn't you assume all the other christians would behave the same?

Sorry I'm not following your question, perhaps reword it as it's a little confusing. What would I be lying about?

Non-white? Have you seen his parents? His mother was white. That makes him half white. Not that it has anything to do with anything.

You claimed if the Christian God spoke from the sky to clear up all the misunderstandings people have of him, other christians would try to hide the fact that their God is the voice coming from the sky by suggesting it is a mass haluciation; or something other than the truth.
My question is, if you (a christian) wouldn't be willing to lie to hide the truth (truth being the God of the bible is the voice coming from the sky) why wouldn't you assume the same for everyone else who is christian?

In the USA most black people (decendents of slaves) are mixed. (the result of slavery) The fact that he is only half black makes him just about normal.

Therefore, would a wrong answer be based upon a presupposition?

Tell us where and how did the universe come into being?

Wrong answers can be based upon all sorts of things; presuppositions included. As far as how and where the Universe came into being; I guess it came into being as we know it during the big bang, Where? What do you mean by where?

Back up your assertion that the USA is practically owned and run by Christians. Do you have any data to back this up? Or is it just your opinion?

And you called president Obama "non-white". He's not.

The majority of politicians are Christian, the president included. A simple google search could back that up. Since the majority of people in America identify as Chrisian and the majority of Corporations are owned by shareholders, I feel it is safe to assume the majority of Shareholders in America identify as Christian.

Do you consider President Obama a white man?

I never said I would lie, I said faith is a personal thing and I wouldn't force my beliefs on others. If I heard God's voice from the sky and everyone in the world heard it, why would I need to tell them about it, they have already heard it for themselves. However if someone asked me about it I would be happy to discuss it with them.
