I may never know which theology is right. I could study my whole life and still would not be convinced which one is right. It does not mean I will not study Bible and various theologies. But you know what? I will not be especially disturbed about it. I know there is God. I love Him and would love to serve him. I want to spread the word about Him. I want to be friend to people and be helpful and be there for them. The rest God will tell me then. I hope.

When Jesus walked this earth it was the pharasees who studied and held the authority on the laws and theology but yet when they encountered Jesus they could not recognize him. Humanity by the grace of God had The Almighty walk in our midst but yet he did not give us the theological answers surrounding creation ect, but yet the spiritual answers to our salvation. If we were meant to have these questions answered then it would be crystal clear in scripture, but it's not hence the surrounding, endless debate. It is not our concern, so what then?, if we don't hold strong fast to such conflicting questions then non-believers will not accept the message of Christ? This endless debate and conflicting ideals repels non-believers. How can we all beleive in the one God but hold such conflicting theologies? We are focusing on the wrong message.
Our greatest teacher was/is Jesus and he taught us the things of the spirit. These are not feel good, fairy ideals that present in hallmark cards these are the secrets to the kingdom of heaven. Love, understanding, compassion, empathy, forgiveness, kindness and humility.
Our greatest teacher, Jesus, God in the flesh clearly expressed the laws by which we should govern, anything more or less is the theology of man not Our Father and has no bearing on our spirit or salvation. By faith we love and by faith we are redeemed.

He has decided you're right, and he will be shutting down all discussion on this board effective immediately. He used to think that iron sharpens iron. And even though believers disagree, at the end of the day,
we're all brothers and sisters in Christ. And that we could show people that disagreements make us stronger as Christians. We learn from each other and grow as believers and human beings when we can learn from those we disagree with.

Freaking hilarious as usual. (Sarcasm) I see it's working great for you and this forum. I can count on two hands the regular users on here. What was once a flourishing community on here has dwindled down to you lot. Your repeated arguments and rudeness trying to be disguised as humour has not served this forum. All one needs to do is read through old posts for the evidence on this. There has been some beautiful testimonies and heartfelt sharing which is recieved mostly with warmth but they by far and large never stick around. It is no surprise. To gain balance on an argument you need diverness in opinion and fresh ideas, but here you have the same arguments going around and around without anyone really listening because they are too stuck up their own hmmm. You all just piss in each other's pockets never bringing anyone closer

The first rule of Theology is that it is based on human interpretation of God's word.
History shows us there has always been differences in that interpretation.
Luckily our salvation is NOT based on any theology but on God's divine grace and Our Lord's sacrifice for Us.
The Gospel is NOT theology, it is truly the Good News that we are saved because of what Christ did for us and all we have to do is believe in His sacrifice and Resurrection.
That said, theology can be one of the most fascinating subjects you will ever study.
Just keep and open mind and appreciate that man is finite and imperfect and that everything that comes from Man is just that, finite and imperfect.

We become Christians by the grace of Our Lord and the sealing by the HS, not because we read anything.
Many a person has come to Christ for many other reasons and many other ways besides the bible.
We should be cautious NOT to place a limit on Our Lord and how anyone can come to Him.

I agree with you, there are many paths.
I believe it is unique for everyone and not dependant upon anything but a love and longing for Jesus.
I place no limits
or boundries
I never question His Authority
WE are all worthy
of his love and sacrifice
