1000 Generation
I have a question so god had commanded a 1000 generations and generation it's 40 years. So does this mean it was 40,000 years that god made people doing O.T? referencing Psalms 105:8

it is just a poetic expression. No need to take it literally. The higher number probably cements the notion that God is faithful, as he was in the past so will he be in future.
It would be a blessing if they missed the cairns and got lost on the way back. Or if
