I fondly miss my own aviation days. For a period, I had an aerial photography business with a friend. Nothing like getting bad, hand-drawn map directions to a site (this was pre-GPS) while circling and burning fuel $$$s!

I hear you! I miss my aviation days as well. I have a friend with a C182 but flying second fiddle just isn't the same. Last November, I told my wife that I was considering the purchase of an airplane. I was surprised when she approved the idea, so I started pouring over ads in Trade-a-Plane looking for a nice C177...but reality soon set in. I could afford a used airplane but parking, maintenance, fuel, insurance, engine reserve and all the other little things just made the project ridiculously expensive...Philip wrote:I fondly miss my own aviation days.
