Some people just like to see conflict where there is none, nothing to see here, move along.

I think a better question is why do we Christians wear expensive jewellery.
1Tim1:15-17
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.Amen.

I have a Christian friend who just bought a 2015 Corvette Stingray, charcoal black with red piping on the seats. He also owns a Mercedes 550, a Subaru Legacy, a BMW Z3 and a Cessna 182.

If he buys a yacht, that's it! I'm through with him! I just don't believe that a Christian should own a yacht.

If they had a social gospel in the days of the prodigal son, somebody would have given him a bed and a sandwich and he never would have gone home.

Well, they can buy a yacht if they like, as long as they're not Christians. I think it is improper for a Christian to own a yacht. In the Bible, Jesus said, "Come with me and I'll make you fishers of men". The disciples were taken away from their yachts; there is a message here for all of us.

Brits don't own yachts! Here, I'll prove it:

1) people who own yachts have a beautiful smile

2) Brits have horrible teeth

3) Brits don't own yachts

The popularity of non christians wearing crosses is actually an awesone topic, purely I believe that most of the civilization understand that the coss represents a symbol of something good, surprisingly there is a vast number of people that have no idea the significants of what took place surrounding the pendent they have around there neck. People in my eye don't really know where they came from nor why they are here. What they do know is that life is not easy and it can be an all around every day struggle. In my opinion people need a sense of comfort in life, possibly knowing that Jesus died for them so they could have life can fill that void and give them a sense of hope even when they might not understand much more. Just because one is not a Christian or ever had a. Chance to learn about the scriptures does not mean they don't believe that something of a higher power as Christians call God doesn't exist. They wear this pendant because they might of seen grandma wearing it, or they might of seen it tattooed on a close friend. The bottom line is they know that the cross is linked to a religion and it gives them a sort of security and happiness that cant go unnoticed.
