You guys are sooooo hilarious! I made a "serious" comment about how one could baptize himself, and you comedians made it into a joke. Can't you guys be serious for once?
Perhaps, a baptism needs, and it IS, a witness - as the person being baptized is THE witness as to what is going on in his heart, and, of course, any other person(s) are a witness to THAT. Otherwise, if no one else is available, it's just you and God - which is more than enough.
