So for the record, as long as it's not in a yacht, you condone this pastor's desire to fleece $65 million from his flock, in order to travel the world preaching the prosperity gospel?Furstentum Liechtenstein wrote:I must admit that when I read the piece on Prophit Dollar's new-to-him Gulfstream IV, I was shocked! Why would God's servant fly around in a used jet? A jet which had undoubtedly seen the basest of secular human activities! Prophit Dollar has shown exemplary restraint in purchasing a used Gulfstream which will only have an hourly operating cost of $20,000! Just think: to prop up his ego, a lesser servant may have bought a new jet, perhaps a 3-engined Dassault Falcon, with operating costs of $30,000 per hour! I thank God for servants who administer the fleeced's flock's money with parsimony.RickD wrote:FL, I know you were talking about a biblical injunction against Christians having yachts. But what about if pastors try to fleece the flock to the tune of $65 millon, for a private jet? This folks, is the prosperity gospel in full bloom. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nationa ... -1.2150876
Now to the matter of your lack of understanding of the Bible...yachts, as I have shown, are verboten to the Christian but jets are OK. Actually, any flying machine is blessed by God! Have you not read Isa 40:31? How can a man soar if not in an airplane? It's in your Bible! Plain as day for you to see!
Be at peace with this matter, Ricardo. The Lord has blessed all of us according to His Will. Do not condemn another Bother in Christ who has a Gulfstream IV. Do I condemn you because you have a 550HP Mustang? No! now go, and be content with your station in life.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a Gulfstream...perhaps I'm too proud an individual. For only $60 million more, Creflo Dollar could have a Dassault Falcon. In the world of luxury private jets, Dassault is the Rolls Royce and Gulfstream is like a Mercedes.RickD wrote: So for the record, as long as it's not in a yacht, you condone this pastor's desire to fleece $65 million from his flock, in order to travel the world preaching the prosperity gospel?
I applaud Prophit Dollar for his humility, his restraint and good money management!
