Yes, He does.
And yes He would, because He loves her

Err, that might be why God isn't getting through!!RickD wrote:Could you imagine Audie putting God on her ig list?Kurieuo wrote:Does God really want the likes of Audie though?RickD wrote:But the bible says that those that say there is no God, are fools. Can you picture Him being called stupid for doing this and that.

Nah, as if?
I just tell her I love her, and mean it.

Is there something the rest of us don't know?Storyteller wrote:Nah, as if?

Maybe I shouldn't ask.
PS. I teach my kids Jesus loves them because the Bible tells us so. Is that wrong?

God is about love. He is love.
God loves me.
I love Audie and I love God.
ps I dont think God cares how you teach them Jesus loves them, as long as that love is understood.

Well aren't we serious today?

Sorry, I get carried away sometimes.

Yeah, the Bible says that those who say there is no God are fools, Ps 14:1. Hindus worship a multutude of idols, Muslims worship Allah and go around a black rock during the Hajj, animists worship a bunch of spirits, atheists worship whatever, and agnostics are confused. A false god is no god, so worship a false god and you might as well be dancing around a totem pole for all the good it will do you.RickD wrote:

Another way to look at it: die in any false worship and you go to Hell. God doesn't say, "Well, my son, you were a good agnostic in life, giving to the poor and protecting the Environment, so you'll get into Paradise."
Ps 14:1 applies to a helluva lot of people, not just crazed atheists.

Helluva lot of people is perhaps an understatement.
Just like there is none but God who are good, likewise I think only God is not foolish.
Thankfully God loves us fools anyway.

I have no clue about what you are rattling on about. The context of Ps 14:1 is clear: those who say there is no God are fools. The G is capitalized indicating that the deity referred to is the Real One, not Vishnu, or Allah or the Environment orKurieuo wrote:Helluva lot of people is perhaps an understatement.Just like there is none but God who are good, likewise I think only God is not foolish.Thankfully God loves us fools anyway.

Actually the articles interoretatiin on the new study is what is not up to date .Audie wrote:New study does not disagree that they are real, but not "real" in the way that

Every materialistic explanation for Nde's being brain based has fallen short and has been refuted .
For instance pseudo skeptics first said that Nde's were the result of an oxygen deprived brain later studies show that people have Nde's whether they are deprived of oxygen or have an abundance of oxygen.
The author of the article just didn't dig deep enough into the literature to properly refute the skeptical explanations.
How do you explain the little Colton boy who came back with information about a sister he saw in heaven that he never knew who was lost in a miscarriage ? How do you explain by materialistic means doctor alexander going to heaven and seeing a beautiful spirit guide he never knew before guiding him through heaven who he later finds out is his sister who his real parents had later after he was adopted who died in her early thirties .
How do you explain these types of veridical Nde's as being caused by the brain ?
The more I study Nde's the more convinced I am that many of them can't be explained as having being caused by the brain.
I see the brain in these experiences as being a receptor for the soul . It fits in perfectly with these types of Nde's and other veridical Nde's

If the brain is not functioning should it matter if the neurons or synapses or the bones have rotted away.Audie wrote:Some but not all. No detected brain activity?PaulSacramento wrote:That is not the samething Audie.Audie wrote:New study does not disagree that they are real, but not "real" in the way that

Those were illusions induced in an active brain.
NDE ( some not all I think) happen when there is NO brain activity at all.
I wonder how you would define "dead".
The legal / medical definition has specific purposes.
You end up with "dead" but in a reversible state, and dead-dead, like, squashed possum on the highway dead.
In between there seem to be a lot of grey areas.
Non functional is non functional . And this is why sam parnia is now starting to call them actual death experiences or ADE's.

But what do we do with the person who grew up knowing only their faith ?Furstentum Liechtenstein wrote:I have no clue about what you are rattling on about. I can imagine a Muslim being brought up being told that is
Am is the true faith standing before God in judgment never knowing about Christ or being taught the word of God in the right away and God telling that person "oops it doesn't matter that you never denied me because u didn't know me , off to hell with you anyways "
It just doesn't fit with the all understanding , loving nature of God.
Now if someone knowingly rejects after knowing his word that is a different story . How can you reject what u never had a chance to know . Another classic example is a person that grows up in a fire and Brie stone church that teaches them that God is an angry tyrant that will vanquish you to hell for even the slightest sin. Is it this persons fault that he was taught the wrong understanding of God or his pastors or priests fault ?
These aren't questions. That we can easily answer .

Yes, something left. Now, what reason might people have to want to turn this
into something that it may well not be?
Belief in God does not require that one be gullible, tho our yecs and floodies etc make it a requirement.
