ID rebuttals on prominent online encyclopedia

Hey guys! I'm new to this board but have been reading it for some time now! I finally got around to a post of my own.

I was recently browsing Wikipedia (an online encyclopedia anyone can edit if you don't already know) and checked the article on Intelligent Design. It stated the usual, ie. ID is not readily accepted, it is disputed, etc. but also goes into some detail regarding some aspects. The article gives some of ID's strong points and then provides some rebuttal sections below that.

Now, I personally favor ID as a viable alternative to godless evolution, being a Christian myself. The rebuttals given seemed strong and I really thought that if some of you read the article you could provide some counter-info that would be helpful to restore some of my shaken confidence.

The guy who started the Wikipedia was on Booknotes tonight on CSPAN.
He mentioned how he had 'contacted out' a lot of the admin duites on that site, so an unscrupulous person with an agenda could manupulate what is on it. He said he had some review processes in place for stuff that gets posted there, but he's never had anything taken directly to him.

And apparently alot of the admins are overseas, as well.
