I think it pretty brutal when it's family... I mean if you are hearing those things from day one.. then when other people say stuff..
you are completely vulnerable

very very VERY true.. we tend to just overlook the good stuff far too easily.. maybe cos for at least some of us.. theres more bad than good?
or maybe we discount the good.. or dont even hear it...
