Bad habits
I assume you lot have some
- saying 'you know' far too much when I talk. Husband starts saying it back to me and I know Ive done it again
- waiting to shower til the last minute before someone.comes round - few close calls
- bad eating habits especially when down but can also go other other way and stick to carrot juice etc
Your turn..

Re: Bad habits
Mel sounds like my wife - she's almost always late to just about everything. God forbid some poor soul is walking on our cul-de-sac a few minutes before my wife is supposed to be somewhere. Her minivan comes rocketing out of our driveway like Batman flying out of the Batcave!

We are suppose to be talking about our own bad habits, not our spousesPhilip wrote:Mel sounds like my wife - she's almost always late to just about everything. John 5:24

So, tricky ricky, whats yours?
Selective hearing
Not being as anal as my wife, when it comes to cleaning
Leaving the toilet seat up
Snoring(is that a habit?)
Procrastination-I heard a saying once: why put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after. I guess it stuck with me.
And wives, when you ask us husbands to do something, that means we'll do it. You don't have to keep reminding us every six months.

Re: Bad habits
The leaving the toilet seat up thing is really not fair to us men.How come the wives don't leave it up for us? That would be fair but no we must raise it and lower it.If we did not raise it then we would hear complaining when they should really be glad we raised it,instead of not caring about a wet seat and yet they don't realize the better good we are doing for them by raising it.
Hebrews 12:2-3 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
2nd Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of this glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God,should shine unto them.

I don't mind raising it and lowering it but they are not being fair about it.Maybe we should just leave it down and not worry about anything.Nessa wrote:Hello?! Re: Bad habits
Man, let's see here.
-leaving things in odd places; I left a glass cup at the edge of my countertop one night. so much for that glass
-eating all at once; I heat up pizzas all the time and there's never leftovers, no matter how big it was or how recently I've eaten
-ignoring little stuff I should take care of but can get away with not doing. it sometimes has a way of working itself out: my car was badly in need of a wash a couple weeks ago, then it rained and my car looked 'good enough' again
