I'm not sure if you can believe in Christ by proxy.
As for God fulfilling our destinies, controlling or directing, what does it matter. It matters because He longs for all of us to come to Him, freely, independently and willingly.

What if He has led you here, to this forum?stuartcr wrote:I'm sure God will let me know.Storyteller wrote:What if God wants you to seek Him out? To know Him? To come to Christ?

I have no idea if one can believe in Christby proxy.
Maybe the plan is for you to delve deeper, look harder for Him?
Have you tried praying, or just talking to Him? He will not force you to seek Him out but He is there, waiting.
What if He is doing all this because He wants you to know Him, in a personal way rather than as just some guiding force?

We need to reach out too, we can`t leave Him to do all the work.
We need to accept Christ, fully and totally.

Re: Manna
Okay, I respect that.
Just a thought though...
Have you heard the story of the man, in a flood, stood on his roof praying to God for help?
A boat passed, they offered help, he refused saying God would save him, another boat passed, same response, then a third.
He drowned.
When he came face to face with God he asked why God didn`t save him, God responded by saying Did you not see the three boats I sent you?
