Will Canada will be hit with droughts, fires, floods, winds, etc and etc as their neighbor to the south has been?

You'll be Sorry!

Nah, it's pretty typical here that after a government has had a couple of runs, the opposition gets into power.

I listened to our new, young and very handsome Prime Minister recount how he had received congratulations on his election victory from the Presidents of France, Mexico and the USA. He beamed as he recounted how Barak Obama joked that within a few years grey hair would catch up with him.

Unlike his predecessor, PM Trudeau doesn't have a special place in his heart for Israel. So, yes, there will be problems. Christians understand the I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you Bible prophecy but the rest of society doesn't even know it exists. And those who do just brush it off as irrelevent.

Anyway, to answer B.W. succinctly: So what? All Western nations have been shooting themselves in the foot for a long time now. Ever since Bible-based values have been rejected and replaced with humanist BS, our societies have been going downhill...drugs, perversions, abortion, immorality, political correctness. We are too far gone to down that road to turn back, I'm sorry to say. If disaster doesn't come from the elements, it will come from social unrest. So what?

If they had a social gospel in the days of the prodigal son, somebody would have given him a bed and a sandwich and he never would have gone home.

Trader Joe is on the way... by half mile long Tunnel from Tijuana no less.

It is all foretold in the bible. People do love darkness more than light. By us shinning, we will discover and expose their hate.

You know FL, I returned from the Reservations in South Dakota last Monday. Meetings were awesome. God was there and people saved, hearts and bodies healed. Several folks so battered by life, abuse, neglect drugs and see them become free and less afraid. Cannot explain it. Strange how i have to go out to a forgotten speck on the map to find what church realy is.

One married gal, pregnant, dirt poor worried about the effects of meth will have and the guilt she carried and her fear does affect you. Then see them slowly return to the Lord and become hooked on Jesus is an amazing cure to watch. Her and her husband have struggles and issues but they will make it thru now.

Then to see those years ago, who came to the Lord all dirty, smelling of urine and booze, become born again. several years later, didn't recognize them due the the hair cut, good clothes and the jobs they hold. Jesus makes a difference and one of them struggles with cancer but is serving the Lord no matter what where ever he is at. Amazing.

The folks are getting it despite their issues, problems, and squabbles. They are trusting in the Lord, surrendering o Him and things are changing. They are beginning their own ministries to their own people midst a world done gone crazy.

Yep, time seems short now, the world will be judged soon enough. We need to continue the task to the end, walking, surrendered to Him - his will - Isaiah 61:1-4.

Individuals here and there do come to the Lord but I believe that national revivals are a thing of the past. Like on your Native reservation, I have seen the same thing in my Inuit village: the lowliest members of society are the ones turning to God and being reborn.

Unfortunately, most of us have become too perverse, too sinful and full of pride to turn to God. Perhaps a national revival would be possible if a nation were really, really small and very, very immoral. The Vatican comes to mind...
