What do you want for christmas?
I think we can handle two xmas threads..
Not all gifts have price tags so....
What would you like for christmas that doesnt involve money?
Or what would you like to give?
I have tossed around the idea of writing special letters to family - the nice kind
Saying things that I appreciate about them etc maybe sharing memories..

uh...gold bullion would be fine. Stocks, preferably bank stock. Bonds from a stable country.Nessa wrote:What would you like for christmas that doesnt involve money?
Offer such a gift only to women. If you must offer this gift to a man, add a gift card to his favorite store.Nessa wrote:I have tossed around the idea of writing special letters to family - the nice kind Saying things that I appreciate about them etc maybe sharing memories..

If they had a social gospel in the days of the prodigal son, somebody would have given him a bed and a sandwich and he never would have gone home.

salvation & health
- that would be nice
- that would be nice
But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.

Re: What do you want for christmas?
When you think about the fact that Christmas is suppose to be a celebration of 'Jesus birthday' its kinda weird to get gifts. I mean the focus is often totally taken off the real reason for celebrating. We are out spending. And for alot of people, it ends up being added stress. One more thing to do...check it off the list.
Like how many people celebrate your birthday giving each other gifts?
Maybe the original intention was good but now it's often treated like a second birthday with some extra songs thrown in.
