I see no connection between Israel and Nero in Revelation. It was the Christians that were blamed by Nero. The Jews rejected Christ. THe minor prophets talk about Israel returning to its homeland. That didn't happen until 1948. Israel was a scattered people before then so nothing could have happened before then. What happened in 70ad was the exact opposite. Israel had been dispersed. There couldn't have been a tribulation for that reason.
