THIS test (http://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-testis pretty good - it described me very well. And if someone were to read it, they would understand me much better. However, it doesn't put you into a neat category like many of the other personality tests, as their challenge is that while many people have clear personality perceptions and behaviors, they tend to blur around the edges. To get much more accurate results, it is key that you really take the time to carefully answer each, and as accurately as possible. If you continue on and take the longer version of the test, the results will be much more accurate. Also, try not to leave neutral answers. Actually, I found this one really accurate. y:-?

And so neat personality categories are a bit like trying to categorize music, as we're more organic, more analog, than static and digital.

I bet it's almost as accurate as astrology.

It's ironic...

The first trait I'm supposed to have, is a strong artistic ability. I have no artistic abilities whatsoever. Can't paint. Can't sing at all. Can't play an instrument. So much for that stupid astrology quiz! :pound:

Looking at lists of traits some are true of me, some kinda true, and some completely opposite me.

Just like Astrology.
It's just a straight description of personalities, trying to fit people into boxes - but obviously everyone's different and some people fit into boxes more easily than others. You were pretty borderline on all the pairs of traits if I remember rightly, so you must be a well-rounded person! I thought I was more or less borderline on most of them but this time I ended up about 60-80% one way or the other on all of them.

I felt quite normal when I saw that 13% of people apparently have my personality type, out of the 16! I think we're just those nice, caring, sensible, organised people who make the world go round.
Nice, caring, sensible, and organized? Please don't ever accuse me of being any of those!
I meant me, not you! I'm ISFJ. :esmile:

Maybe you should take it as a sign to practice these things because you may have a talent you aren't aware of. :P

No. I'm pretty sure all the practice in the world can't help my singing.

But actually, I've always wanted to learn to play the bagpipes. Something hypnotizing about amazing grace on the pipes!

Try dazzling up the Bagpipes with glitter, and glossy plastic rubies, and shinny fake diamonds, with a plad white, grey blue design. Wear big gawdy rings, and a white, blue, or orange Tux and your playing will improve...

Now try this with the Bagpipes!
