seeing it - promising begining
But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

Its still a work in progress but we do at least see it.

Sometimes honesty isnt the best policy. Sometimes words do so much damage.

We are each others challenge.

Prov. 12:18
The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Ephesians 4:15
Speaking the truth IN love

You know, I think honesty is always appropriate but it needs to be done in the right way and with the right intent.

I remember a close friend was upset cos her husband made some [poop] comment about her weight. Though shes really beautiful and wasnt really overweight. Anyway, I know it wasnt being truthful that got to her, it was the way he said it. Not speaking it in love. I mean how would he feel if she said 'Why don't you go the gym and get a six pack - so I can like your body better' Kinda thing :shakehead:

Words can be weapons but they also can bring healing and needed change.

Am pondering.....

Tumbling thoughts.
Tangents.
God.
Love.
Sacrifice.
Faith.
Pain.

The harder I cling to God, the more secure I feel. Still as lost but safe.
And loved.

Okay :)

God is God.
Christ is God.
The Holy Spirit is God.
God is Christ.
God is the Holy Spirit.
God is God.

God is time yet timeless.
Finite.
Infinite.
The beginning and the end.
Alpha and Omega.

A circle.
A beginning and an end.
No end, no beginning.
Where does it begin?
At the end?
Or the beginning?
It begins with the Word.
The Word began because of the end.
God.

Dec 03 blog entry on Robert Fulghums site moved me, inspired me, amazed me.

I pray, all the time, think about God all the time, have Christ close to me, all the time.
The only one that didnt strike a personal chord, or reach me, deep, was the poetry one.
Ironic.
The one thing I'd love to do.
Wax lyrical.
Move people.

We all have a gift right?
Whats mine in a sentence?
I get such good feedback from you all, why?

I'm prepared to say I might be wrong about God. That He may just be in my head, wishful thinking, all that stuff but, and this is what matters, I dont feel im wrong.
Nothing will convince me that God isnt the be all and end all. He is life. Existence, creation. Love.

Maybe the strongest faith needs a little doubt.

Since you're a horse person, answer me this...

Is it considered rude, and inconsiderate to ride a horse on the sidewalk where people walk, and let the horse poop, and just leave it on the sidewalk?

It's one of my pet peeves. I walk my dog through a minefield of horse poop!
