It would mean that God has another woman (or Bride, if you will) on the side. So in that it's unbiblical.Storyteller wrote:If aliens do exist, and they were intelligent beings, doesnt mean it conflicts with the Bible. We were created in His image, that isnt just intelligence, its spirit. A soul. Would aliens have tgat? Or would they just be another species in a bigger world than we thought?

John 5:24
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Re: Christians against Aliens, why so common?
A lot of YECs believe there are no aliens because they also believe in YUC (Young Universe Creationism) because they misunderstand what God did on the fourth day of creation.
And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.
(Genesis 1:14-19 ESV)
They believe that this was when God created the rest of the universe and that means that the entire universe was created for humans. In fact it only says that God made the lights to appear in the sky, not that he created the bodies that produced the lights at this time. I started a thread to explain why I believe this:

God wants full custody of his children, not just visits on Sunday.

Re: Christians against Aliens, why so common?
The funny thing about YECS as well as others who insist there are NO other life forms in the universe - well, I find this to be very narcissistically human-centric. Really, remember, God is an ETERNAL being, He infinitely goes into the past. Are we to think that God was, in all eternity past, just waiting with such high anticipation of that day when He would create humans? And then, when that time got there, He was in such a huge hurry, He created everything in existence in a literal week, only to subsequently suffer for untold thousands of years through the follies of human sin and stupidity? What in the world was He in such a hurry for? But, HOWEVER long that Creation week actually was, it should be clear 1) that God was in no hurry, 2) had no reason to try to impress with His SPEED Creation Week, 3) That He didn't NEED humans, 4) Time is irrelevant to God - it's only a tool to use as He plays out HIS STORY in HIS time - however long or short that might be.
One of God's KEY attributes is that He is creative. He loves to create things of great beauty and function. Are we to think that, in eternity past, before the creation of this universe, that He NEVER before had exercised His great creative attributes in other ways, with other beings (both physical and spiritual), perhaps over and over. Again, Jesus, the Bible, these are how God has dealt with man, on EARTH. Who knows what other spectacular things He had done. And, given God's attributes, we should EXPECT that of Him. The question is, in THIS universe and time, did God create other living beings - and what are they like. Maybe, MAYBE, we are the ONLY ones in this universe. But what also of worlds in OTHER dimensions. God tells us, in Ephesians 6, that there is an unseen world. The fact is, whenever someone asserts this universe or humanity is all God has EVER created physically, then that person is automatically limiting what God is capable of and regulating His creative nature to just ONE time and universe - which is but a blink of an eye/just another day to an ETERNAL, all-powerful God. Speaking of God, it is absolutely laughable to be arguing over billions of years vs. thousands - as what are these to God?
So, I'm agnostic on alien life because I know filling in the following blanks is mere human folly: There is no way God created (this) ____________ or (that) _____________. Because then you are intellectually putting God in a box as defined by a human. Thus, our questions should only be about THIS universe and THIS time, and what all God had done with it as He created it, and to realize there were never ANY limits as to what He might have actually done, in this universe, or before it, or in other realms and dimensions simultaneous to it. He is GOD!!! But there are severe limitations as to what we can know about what He has done.
